A CDM consultant offers an advisory service to assist clients with construction health and safety obligations. Helping key stakeholders to comply fully with their statutory duties, M.L.A. can support your needs and serve as an integral part of your projects. Revisions made to the CDM2015 (Construction Design Management Regulations) removed responsibility for upholding responsibility from the CDM co-ordinator and placed all safety duties onto the client.
At the same time, the role of the Principal Designer was introduced.
Today, M.L.A. can still assist you as a CDM consultant and will guide you in the complex world of construction health and safety. Those previously working as CDM co-ordinators will primarily operate in a consultancy capacity to ensure their former input into the industry wasn’t lost but actually retained.
Based in Croydon, we offer consultancy services in the following areas:
Berkshire | Essex | Hampshire | Hertfordshire | Kent | Surrey | Sussex | London
If you uphold CDM2015 as a duty holder, you will have responsibilities to think about and operational tasks to consider. Ultimately, you must use your own judgement to establish whether or not you possess the competence and skills needed to fulfil some or all of your duties. Should you find that some of your responsibilities aren’t clear, or if you don’t understand how to implement risk assessment strategies in line with a project, it is worth using a CDM consultant.
Please call M.L.A. to discuss your requirements. We have a sensitive approach to construction health and safety and will always be able to advise you.
As a duty holder, a failure to implement your obligations could lead to major injuries or fatalities. If the reputation of your business suffers, you may not be able to win it back. We advise that you only proceed in upholding CDM 2015 if you feel suitably qualified and have sat to earn the required qualifications.
In all other circumstances, it is advisable to use a CDM consultant.
M.L.A. does more than competing companies in Berkshire, Essex, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and London to help you establish a path of compliancy. Our many years of experience in health and safety is your own assurance of running compliant projects to current CDM2015 regulations.
